Giorgio Fabbri Biography

Giorgio Fabbri was Director of two Music Conservatories for 13 years, first in Adria and then in Ferrara.

He is currently a contract professor of Fundamentals of Musical Language at the Department of Neurology of the University of Ferrara and of Fundamentals of Musical Composition at the University of Pavia, while until 2022 he was professor of Musical Analysis at the Conservatory of Bologna.

TEDx speaker, trainer, business and career coach, has been involved in management training for some years. He has held courses for universities (Padua, Florence, Siena, Naples, Polytechnic of Milan), for business schools (Luiss Business School, CUOA Business School, where he is a teacher in the Master HR Management) and for companies (Confindustria, Confartigianato, Enel, Poste Italiane, Amazon, Tim, Wind, Unipol and many others), with a model of his own creation based on musical intelligence, winner in 2017 of the Adriano Olivetti Award for excellence in training, which he adopted in hundreds of workshops with the participation of over 60,000 executive managers. He has also designed and implemented training projects to prepare young musicians to enter the world of work.

For Franco Angeli he published the volume “Come un’orchestra – Making music together to grow together”, written with Luciano Ballabio and Francesco Senese, with a presentation by Salvatore Accardo and Enzo Spaltro. His interventions have appeared in the volumes “Wellbeing at work and quality of relationships” and “Daring the future”, edited by E. Cheli and I. Buccioni Ed. Aracne; “The art of being kind”, by A.M. Palma and L. Canuti, Ed. Terra Nuova; “Be kind and have courage – Twelve stories to inspire team leaders and dreamers”, by A. Bettini and K. Bertelle, Ed. Franco Angeli.

Still active as a conductor and as a soloist on the organ and harpsichord, he has participated in hundreds of events all over the world, alongside artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Mirella Freni, Carla Fracci, and with theater actors such as Arnoldo Foà, Moni Ovadia, Ottavia Piccolo, Paola Pitagora, Michele Placido, Pamela Villoresi, with prizes in international competitions and numerous recordings (Sony, Tactus, Brilliant).
